The More We Know The Better It Gets.

Amin
In one of my blogs entiltled: To The Pearl of Africa, Everybody is Welcome, I gave a link to Idi Amin Dada, one of Uganda's former presidents, most notorious, dictator and really stubborn all his life through. Here is another one

He was named the Butcher of Uganda for his brutal despotic rule during the 1970s (9 years)
Now this is a link abot him from one of Uganda's daily newspapers, The Daily Monitor

http://www.monitor.co.ug/news/news02081.php

Like Saddam Hussein, this man was a true dictator, (certainly no Ugandan president of present and future times will reach that level) but incidentally he died in Exile in Saudi Arabia.

Let our current and future leaders have visionary minds and not suffer like these people.

Health is Wealth

Most of us enjoy the taste of fish and we certainly know that we gain a lot of food nutrients from them-of course that's true. However we need to take care when we are taking them.
Children, mothers(pregnant) please note and refer here.

Thanks

Create Hope for Orphans

“These concerns (for orphan children in India and elsewhere in the world) are very good, but often these same people are not concerned with the millions that are killed by the deliberate decision of their own mothers. And this is what is the greatest destroyer of peace today, Abortion...For the pregnant women who don't want their children, give them to me.” Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Help In Creating Hope For Orphans

Posted on Feb 15th, 2007 by Saidi : The SAE Saidi

Here's a letter from a humanitarian friend from Florida who needs a hand from other visionaries and humanitarian beings:
He can be reached privately by phone or email address: 321-403-7993 or kpecot@cfl.rr.com

"
Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brothers, you  have done it unto me."

                                                                           -Jesus

In March of 2007 I will be among a group of twenty participants assisting an organization called the Orphan Children Fund.  During a nine-day stay in Uganda, we will begin construction of the first phase of an orphanage.  Our group is collectively committed to raising over $200,000.  Every dollar of that amount will pay for the shelter, clothing, food, medicine and education of the orphans.  The Orphan Children Fund's ongoing mission is to aid as many children as possible; the organization's annual goal is to raise $10 million to ensure the continuing welfare of the children in their care.  I have a personal involvement and history with the people associated with this organization.  I believe in their efforts and am honored to be assisting them on this current project and joining their team for this cause.

During the last year I have chosen a journey of self-discovery, personal growth and leadership.  I have explored my fears and failures, my beliefs and faith, my relationships, my purpose...and in so doing I have committed to myself to pursue my passion and do what I love to do.  To live the life I was created and purposed to live, a life of service and contribution, giving hope to all people unconditionally.

My personal commitment is to raise $25,000 by March 2007.  I am doing this in two ways.  One, I am offering the opportunity of sponsorship to anyone who wants to make a difference in our world this year.  Secondly, I am asking you to share this letter with your friends and family.  Five hundred people donating $10 each and one hundred people donating $100 each, five people donating $1000 each, and one person donating $5000 will generate $25,000.    By simply passing on this letter, you can help me reach others and give them an opportunity to give back.   I am asking you to help me help others.  Children in Uganda and all over the world will benefit from your support.  If you would like to make a difference, please get involved through prayer, financial contribution and referrals.

It is very easy to support this worthy cause.  Any amount you can give is great; I just appreciate your generosity.  You can make a donation by check payable to Orphan Children Fund.  Please mail it to 6015 Adina Road, Cocoa, FL 32927.  If you prefer you can go to the Orphan Children Fund web page at http://www.orphanchildrenrescue.org/ where you can donate using PayPal.  Once the page opens, click on the word SUPPORT.  If you choose to donate using PayPal please be sure to let me know the amount by phone, letter, or email.  If you would like to assist me with my personal expenses ($2500+) your support, check payable to Keith Pecot, would be greatly appreciated.  If now isn't a good time for you to donate, no worries - I understand.  Also, please don't feel obligated to share this letter; it is completely up to you.

A photographic journal on CD will be created during our time in Uganda.  All donors will be listed in it and will receive a free copy.

I will be making individual calls in the next few weeks .  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call me at
321-403-7993 or by email at kpecot@cfl.rr.com.  Thank you in advance for your support in this endeavor.  I will keep you updated on my progress and informed about the lives you have touched.

Sincerely,

Keith E. Pecot

Friendship,The Greatest Weapon(Not of Mass Destruction)

Posted on Feb 27th, 2007 by Saidi : The SAE Saidi
Dear friends and Zaadzsters,

Since you've been true to me, I would love to keep in touch with you. Catch me at Semakula Saidi: ssaidi.warrior@gmail.com or on phone at +256772907504 at any time. Where I am, am exactly 3 hours ahead of GMT

This time last year, I would not have thought of having as many friends online as I have NOW here @zaadz. But this time at this moment I boast of a network of real friends who have been true to me, inspirational and helpful at all times. I love making friends and indeed I love making many more just as I love maintaining them.

You Rock! Zaadz Rocks!

I would love to share this poem with you. I landed on it as I was reading

Friends
A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy, and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.

- Jean Kyler McManus -

"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born."
- Anais Nin

"My friends are my estate."
- Emily Dickinson

I love you all and I wish you Peace and The Best of Time.

We All Love To BE. Let's NOW BE ... Free!

Posted on Feb 28th, 2007 by Saidi : The SAE Saidi

Zaadzsters, Friends and Global Citizens,

Allow me change my profile for ease of reading. I cut this from my profile page and created a simpler profile which gives a highlight of what keeps me going.

SAIDI, a peace-loving, ambitious young Ugandan with an independent and open mind, ready to change my life positively and the lives of my fellow youths (underprevileged, marginalised, physically handicapped and orphaned) in Uganda towards a positive thinking. Here I am and ready to work to my best with any one out there who has the will to change people's lives for the better. Let's make the world a better place to live in. Together, WE SHALL WIN and PUT SMILES TO THOSE PEOPLE'S FACES. They have the potential to brighten their future with our assistance.

Briefly About Me:
I am a Ugandan citizen, having completed a Bachelors' degree in Mechanical Engineering from Makerere University, Uganda.

I am a visionary and my desire is to help my fellow youths help themselves, not that I have ultimate capacity but because I have faith that ways are possible to make every youth in the world to live a life better than he is living right now, including myself.

MESSAGE TO THE YOUTHS
Youths in general:
My beloved fellow youths allover the world, it is my pleasure to interact with you during this information age. Remember, our world went through the industrial age. It is now time we learnt from the passed to improve our future.

I am very sure every one on earth needs the following in life: Money, Fame, Power, Contentment, Personality, Peace of mind, happiness, to mention but most important so as to assume total success.

I know we face challenges but let us take every challenge as an opportunity. We shall make a difference in the world.

The Physically and Mentally Handicapped:
My dear comrades, I am glad to share with you (what I got from experience and intensive reading-hope we get to believe each other) that, in whatever form of creation one is, success is inevitable. Let's forward it as a principle, that Disability Is Not Inability
Let us use our disability as an asset. I know we shall realize the fruits and we shall not live to regret. It is a matter of keeping success concious.

Our Dear Parents and Leaders
May I call upon the people concerned for our up-bringing and development to nurture us well towards success, to have an open mind and avoid rigidity.

Dear parents and leaders, we all want and love education, yes. But may you please guide us through all possible ways to success. Can we alongside morals and formal education be taught proper and practical business and financial management right from home and influence syllabuss updates in schools; because surely, not all the academic whiz kids have triumphed. Those with a vision and desire to succeed, some with but little education have made wonders.

When every youth is happy, then conflicts, rebellions, poverty, famine, corruption, disease, the current high unemployment rate shall be no more; and certainly the world gets happy. This message is particularly for my continent, AFRICA and Uganda in particular.

LONG LIVE ZAADZSTERS.
LONG LIVE FRIENDS
