MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL ZAADZSTERS

Posted on Dec 1st, 2006 by Saidi : The SAE Saidi

Christmas Day is an annual day when Christians celebrate the birthof Jesus, along with themes such as family, goodwill, giving and compassion.

Christmas is traditionally celebrated on December 25-the observed date of Jesus' birth. It is preceded by Christmas Eve and in some countries is followed by Boxing Day (even here in Uganda).
What I just recently got to know is that Eastern Orthodox Churches celebrate Christmas on January 7, which corresponds to December 25 of the Julian calendar. These dates are merely traditional; the precise chronology of Jesus' birth and death is still debated.

Christmas is celebrated in most countries around the world, owing to the spread of Christianity and Western culture,

I wish you a merry christmas and a prosperous new year whereever you are and and whatever religion. Just have fun.

Love and blessings.

Saidi,
The peaceful Warrior from Uganda
